Design Technologist

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end product experiences, from flows and prototypes to high-fidelity UI, and bring them to life in production-ready React and TypeScript.
• Prototype and build front-end experiences with Claude Code and other AI coding tools, moving from idea to working interface in a fraction of the usual time.
• Build and maintain design systems and component libraries that are beautiful, reusable, accessible, and engineered to last.
• Partner with designers and client engineering teams to refine interactions and ensure what ships is pixel-perfect and technically sound.

Qualifications

• 5+ years spanning product design and front-end development, with a portfolio showing both design thinking and shipped code.
• Mastery of Figma plus expert-level React, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS, with equal fluency in design craft and component architecture.
• Proven ability to prototype and build with Claude Code or comparable AI coding tools, with strong judgment about quality, performance, and accessibility.
• Strong grounding in interaction design, web accessibility standards (WCAG), and inclusive front-end practices, plus the ability to explain technical tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders.
